Five News Stories For Kids This Week

1. Space News: Bon Voyage, Perseverance!
There’s a little rover named Perseverance that took off for a really big mission recently: a mission to study the geology of Mars and look for possible signs of ancient life on the planet. The rover (whose name was given by Alex Mather, a student from Springfield, Virginia!) launched into outer space from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida on July 30th in a rocket that will carry it to its final destination of Mars.
